Religious Education

Hampstead Norreys and The Ilsleys Primary School both promotes the spiritual, moral, personal, social and cultural development of children through an holistic environment committed to Therapeutic Thinking.
 
We follow the legal requirements of the 1996 Education Act and so, RE is taught to all pupils. Our RE is taught in accordance with the locally agreed syllabus, the Pan Berkshire Agreed Syllabus 2018-23.
 
Through this our children are encouraged to respect others from diverse backgrounds and views. Using a ‘whole child’ approach, we aspire to prepare pupils for adult life by instilling life-long learning skills and behaviours to excel in an ever-changing world. Allowing them to flourish individually within their local and global communities.
